Web-based program gives the blind Internet access

WebAnywhere, an Internet application that makes Internet surfing accessible to the blind, is seen as a means to make using the Internet in public places like libraries and Internet cafés. Screen-reader software tends to cost upwards of $1,000 and is not economically feasible for most public places offering Internet access.
