Virginia governor announces telework policy

Governor Timothy M. Kaine announced a telework initiative for gubernatorial appointees and an improved state telework policy directing all state agencies to consider ways to improve and expand agency telework and alternate work schedule programs. Kaine cited rising gas prices, worsening traffic congestion and reduced air quality as reasons for the new policy.
