RSS FEEDs

NextGov.com offers RSS feeds of our news stories, Tech Insider blog entries and Web headlines.

RSS, or Really Simple Syndication, is a method of sharing headlines and other content that doesn't require you to routinely visit a Web site to find what's new. RSS feeds contain headlines and hyperlinks to the pages where content was first published. (For technical information on RSS, visit XML.com; for a brief overview, try this Wikipedia article.)

To view RSS feeds, you need an RSS reader. Different varieties are available. Yahoo! integrates RSS-reading capability into its My Yahoo! toolbar. Mozilla's Firefox browser allows users to set up feeds under its Live Bookmarks, and Internet Explorer 7 users can add feeds to their Favorites Center. For a list of RSS readers, visit RSS Compendium.

Once you're set up with reader software, click on any of the feeds listed below to add the feed to your reader.
