Gadget geeks, rejoice: Google's annual gathering will take place May 28-29 in San Francisco.

The conference will likely feature news about the company's new and improved operating system, Android M. Reports claim the OS will focus on improving battery life and feature native fingerprint authentication, helping make passwords a thing of the past.

It's also rumored that Google will make announcements about its Brillo software for the Internet of Things.
