The Rebroadcast is now available to view

The government’s current IT trajectory is not sustainable, and DOD and other agencies must modernize their systems to make use of new data available to them, handle current and future security threats and maximize thimeir returns on IT investments. The government spends about 80 percent of its $80-plus billion IT budget on legacy systems, leaving precious few resources available to modernize systems and test, develop and keep pace with new technologies. While there is no single solution to the government’s legacy IT problem, some agencies and the Pentagon are using modernization as a necessity to act – instead of an excuse not to – with positive results.

Watch the rebroadcast now to hear the esteemed speakers discuss:

‣ The importance of modernizing IT systems across government

‣ Highlights of DOD modernization efforts

‣ Use cases demonstrating the challenges federal agencies , like the FCC and GSA, face and successes achieved through IT modernization efforts

‣ Modernization strategies for all levels of readiness among agencies
