Hackers find possible corruption at Ukraine customs agency

Anonymous members allegedly extracted evidence of illicit energy schemes from servers hosting customs.gov.ua, the domain used by the country’s State Customs Service.

“Much of the inside of the package is related to former Ukraine Customs Chief – Ihor Kaletnyk who is an active FSB operative enforcing Russian rules of engagement in Ukraine. Also a lot of offshore money laundering by this persona and other government crooks,” the hackers wrote in an online message next to the purported findings.

They claim the 1 Gb of files represent proof of illegal operations involving oil and gas, and corruption schemes.

The attack was part of a campaign called OpUkraine, Softpedia reports.
