A former FBI cybersecurity and forensics specialist is entering the private sector. Former Supervisory Special Agent Timothy Ryan joins Kroll Advisory Solutions as managing director, the company announced.
The firm offers services to institutions that have been hit by hacking attacks and helps companies develop diligence and compliance programs. Ryan will lead assignments involving cybercrime and data breaches.
Ryan most recently supervised the FBI’s largest cyber squad, according to the statement. He was acting director of the FBI's New Jersey Regional Computer Forensic Lab from 2009 through 2010.
